*This category includes those holding an undergraduate degree not currently enrolled in school.

 

 

Auditions Rules and Procedures:

 

  1. Repertoire must meet the requirements of the categories described above and must represent diverse styles, composers, and musical periods.

 

  1. All selections must be memorized with the exception of oratorio arias.

 

  1. The student may choose the selection she or he will perform first. The judges may request a second selection.  The rendition of additional selections will be at the discretion of the judges based on judging needs as well as the time limitations of the audition.

 

  1. The following categories permit singers to place first in two consecutive years: Pre-High School (1), High School (2, 3, 4, 5) Senior College (12, 13) Masters (14M, 14W) Doctoral (15) and Adult (16, 17).

 

  1. NATS Copyright policies must be followed.
