April 12, 2025: Honor’s Recital
Back to back recitals TBA. Teachers can submit names of students to sing on special Honor Recitals throughout the Valley. Each teacher may recommend 2-4 students, $25 fee, pianists will be provided (students may opt to bring their own pianists). Teachers will help organize the recitals and find churches or other spaces to hold the concerts. Not available to Non-NATS Teachers

May 3, 2025: Melissa Solomon – The Inner Voice

The Inner Voice Workshop will address self talk, performance anxiety, self judgment, and the way we think about and teach confidence, both for our students and for ourselves as teachers and as people. We will discuss the way we see ourselves and how that relates to singing and our interactions and connections with others.
($10 for non-NATS teachers)

Ages: High School and up, except the Children’s presentation on Monday, March 10, 2:00-5:15.
Monday, March 10, Special Children’s presentation and Master Class.
Fee for NATS Members and their students: $130
Non-NATS Teachers and Students $140
Family rate for students of NATS Teachers: $220 (parents and children in one family) No family rate for Non-NATS Teachers or Students.
Dr Matt Edwards is a vocal genius! His methods will help you improve singers from all styles! He’s also super approachable and is happy to explain his exercises and the reasons for them. He started the legendary Shenandoah Institute for Commercial Singing, and it has been a success from its founding. Don’t miss his event, it will reinvigorate your teaching and your own singing career.

The Matt Edwards Workshop will boost your knowledge of Musical Theatre and Pop/Rock/Contemporary singing and teaching. The workshop will have limited space so sign up early. Those who sign up early will have the first chance of singing in a Master Class or have the opportunity to sign up for a private lesson Valley of the Sun NATS teachers may be limited to the number of students that can sing on the Master Classes or take private lessons.
